My name is Deb Berry, and I have been teaching Early Education at Brandon/Evansville for 2 years. I have been in the Education field for over 30 years. I earned my Early Education endorsement from U of M Morris, my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from St. Cloud State University, and my Master's of Education from Western Governors University.
I live in Evansville where I am on the City Council, Evansville Arts Center board, and CE Director at my church. When I have free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, music, crafts, spending time with my family and friends, and watching movies.
Early Education Coordinator
I am grateful to our parents, teachers and the B/E School Community for our work (and play!) in creating our B/E Early Education Program.
My teaching background includes a Parent and Child Educator teaching license for over 20 years. Recently I have also taught Pre-primary Educations classes for the University of Morris. I also serve as West Central Minnesota Community Action Head Start Policy Council Education Adviser.
I am married. My husband, Jim, is also a teacher. One of our highlights has been participating in a Fulbright Teaching Exchange where we traded employment, friends, housing, cars and clothing with a family in Devon, England. We like to be outdoors. Our family (two children, our son-in-law and grandchildren) have been known to go hiking, play in the snow or take a picnic to Kensington Runestone Park.
